Aurora Home Remodelers wants this website to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology.

Our goal

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. Work toward that goal includes:

• Text and background color pairs checked against WCAG AA contrast ratios;
• A "Skip to main content" link and a logical heading order on every page;
• Form fields with visible labels, error messages linked to their fields and a status message announced to screen readers;
• Full keyboard access to the menu, the FAQ sections and the form, with a visible focus outline;
• Descriptive alternative text for meaningful images; and
• Reduced motion when your device asks for it.

Known limitations

Embedded Google Maps frames and some linked third-party websites are outside our control and may not fully meet these guidelines. The information in each map is also given as text on the same page.
